It combines 7 different strains of bacteria together with amylase and cellulase, enzymes needed for the breakdown of carbohydrates and cellulose from plants. Probiotic Plus also contains beta-galactosidase, which is an enzyme needed for the breakdown of lactose, and is known to be lacking in those who are lactose-intolerant.

You may experience a change in bowel function/habits for a few days which may present as a gurgling/wind/change in bowel frequency. This is perfectly natural with taking any probiotic and will generally settle down after a week or so. Reducing the dosage may help alleviate this.
Directions
Adults: Take 1-2 capsules daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner
Children aged 1-2 years - 1 capsule daily. Children, age 2+ can be given 1-2 capsules daily. Capsules can be opened and sprinkled onto food.
